We are very excited to announce that we have a special visitor coming to school on Tuesday 26th November. Granny Norbag will be coming to see Year 1 & 2 classes. Author Malcolm J. Hogan will be bringing his Granny Norbag experience to KPI and introducing his latest book to us. The children have loved previous visits from Malcolm and we’re really looking forward to seeing him again.
Copies of the book signed by Malcolm will be available to purchase and also the opportunity to buy all 3 of the Granny Norbag books. There will be order forms available for those who wish to buy any signed copies. Send us a message on school Dojo (social media account) if you require an order form and we will send one home with your child on Monday.
KPI were very proud and excited to be part of ‘Kiveton and Wales Kindness in the Community Week’ at the beginning of October.
Each class at KPI took up the challenge of completing 21 acts of kindness throughout the week. Alongside the class challenge, each child took home a personal record sheet to record their acts of kindness at home.
Check out the new ‘Sportsmanship Award’ board in school. The award will be presented half-termly and children will be nominated by staff for showing characteristics of one, or more, of the sportsmanship themes. The themes are respect, excellence, courage, friendship, equality, being a positive example to others, striving to meet goals, inspiration, taking part fairly, teamwork, being motivated by the achievement of others, giving your best, determination and supporting others 🏆🏆🏆
KPI are proud to be supporting Children in Need again this year. On Friday 15th November children and staff are invited to attend school dressed in spotty clothing or Pudsey clothing/accessories or non-uniform. We’re asking for a £1 donation on the day towards Children in Need.
